Firaga Deals fire elemental damage to multiple targets. Stronger than Fira.
Blizzard Deals ice elemental damage to a single target.
Blizzara Deals ice elemental damage to multiple targets. Stronger than Blizzard.
Blizzaga Deals ice elemental damage to multiple targets. Stronger than Blizzara.
Thunder Deals lightning elemental damage to a single target.
Thundara Deals lightning elemental damage to multiple targets. Stronger than Thunder.
Thundaga Deals lightning elemental damage to multiple targets. Stronger than Thundara.
Water Deals water elemental damage to multiple targets.
Bio Deals poison elemental damage to multiple targets. Also adds Poison status.
Aero Deals wind elemental damage to a single target.
Tornado Deals wind elemental damage to multiple targets. Stronger than Aero.
Quake Deals earth-elemental damage to multiple targets.
Demi Reduces target's HP by 25%.
Holy Deals holy-elemental damage to a single target.
Flare Deals heavy non-elemental damage to a single target.
Meteor Deals heavy non-elemental damage to multiple targets.
Ultima Deals heavy non-elemental damage to multiple targets.

Curative Magic


Magic Effect
Cure Restores HP to a single target.
Cura Restores HP to single target. Restores more than Cure.
Curaga Restores HP to single target. Restores more than Cura.
Life Revives target with a portion of his/her HP.
Full-Life Revives target with full HP.
Regen Slowly replenishes target's HP over time.
Esuna Removes negative status effects from target.
Dispel Removes positive status effects from target.

Defensive Magic


Magic Effect
Protect Reduces physical damage recieved by the target by half.
Shell Reduces magical damage recieved by the target by half.
Reflect Reflect back magic spells to caster. Some spells can not be reflected.
Aura Allows target to use "Limit" even if target has high HP.
Double Allows target to cast 2 spells in one turn.
Triple Allows target to cast 3 spells in one turn.
Slow Slows down target's Speed.
Stop Stops target's ATB bar.
Haste Fastens target's Speed.
Blind Reduces target's Accuracy.
Confuse Makes target unable to control his/her/its action.
Sleep Puts target to sleep. Target is unable to act.
Silence Makes target unable to cast Magic spells or summon Guardian Forces.
Poison Reduces target's HP over time.
Break Turns target to stone. Target is unablae to act.
Drain Drains HP from target. Caster gains HP lost from target.
Pain Afflicts target with numerous status ailments.
Berserk Raises target's Power. Target can only perform physical attacks.
Float Makes target float in mid-air. Earth-elemental attacks do no damage.
Zombie Turns target to Undead. Target loses HP from Curative Spells and Items.
Meltdown Afflicts target with 0 Vitality.
Scan Displays target's stats. (Weakness, Immunity, Level, Etc...)
Apocalypse Deals major damage to target.
